Um...or not.

Okaaayyyyyy, then...um, moving on...

For the "newbies", who are joining in on Five Question Friday (welcome!! I would be your best friend forever if you'd link back to me, Mama M.!!

If you don't have a blog, but wanna join in...feel free to leave your answers in the comments below!

Here we go...

Questions for Friday, December 18th: (Thanks to Kyrsten, Liz, Brianne, and Keely for their question suggestions!! Wanna be linked on a future 5QF? Offer up some questions on the thread in my community!)

1.
Which boygroup did you like most in your teens?

Oh my goodness!! New Kids on the Block...all. the. way.

Loved them. Would've sold my soul to them (it's a good thing I didn't...since I just offered it to my husband and all...).

I lived NKOTB, breathed NKOTB, slept NKOTB...they were heavenly.

Dreamy.

2. Do you do Christmas cards, letters, photos, nuthin', all of the above?

We do the easy peasy lemon squeezy photo card!!

Our card this year is laughable!! We chose it 'cuz it totally captured our Baby Girl's personality...but, when you have a photo with 7 people in it, and you choose the pic that is the best of just one person...it leaves the other 6...well...it just ain't great!

But it's fun!

And, it's us...what more could you want, right?!!!

3. If you could meet one celebrity who would it be and why?

I'd love to say something totally hip, like...like...Socrates, or somethin'...

But, the truth is...

It'd be George Clooney.

I think he's incredibly handsome, but more than that...he seems like he'd be a fun guy to hang out with, have a drink or two...you know? (My husband is probably gagging right now...staunch Republican that he his...sorry, hon!!)

4. Favorite thing to cook with (i.e. stainless, non-stick, microwave, debit card...cauldron, etc.)?

This is my question...and, I'll admit...it's totally selfish! I need your advice!

I currently cook with a ratty old set of Pampered Chef non-stick that we received as a wedding gift...it's flakey, and probably giving us cancer, or something.

I need new stuff!! Help me!!!

5. What is the one thing you wear the most, besides your unmentionables?

My Uggs...no...I take that back.

My jammies! I'm still in them.

They complete me...not unlike the wreath outside my home. When I wear my jammies, I feel at peace with the world.

Ohm...

'kay dudettes, it's, like, totally your turn now!!

  1. I heard Rachel Rays line is pretty good and reasonable! But then again you are suppose to cook with "stick" pans you know not the non stick! Bed Bath and Beyond sells some eco friendly ones that dont have that non sticky stuff that causes cancer or whatever it is! Is tephalon? Is that even how you spell it!

I live in my uggs in the winter and would live in my jammies if I didn't have to leave the house!!

Come here looking for the tutorial? It can be found here:  Halo Braid Tutorial!  Let me know how it goes! I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other day...my best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it. Instead, I got this: Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks! Vlog tutorial coming soon...(for those of you waiting, I'm sorry it's taking me so long!)

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed braiding...watch the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby! So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!

Crock-Pot Fajitas

You! Yes, YOU!! You must stop whatevertheheck it is that you are doing, and make this recipe. Right now. Tonight. Well...wait. You should probably finish reading this post first...you know...so you know how to make it... But then...STOP! STOP everything, make this, and thank me later! Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story ! And this story ...which, well...is the same story, just told two different ways! ;) So, you can thank her...I guess. Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized! You'll need this: And, this: You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. ( Ahem... ) Just keepin ' up with the times, friend. So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips... And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte
