Let's Cut to the Chase

Dear Captain PMS:

I hate you. Take a hike.

And take the love handles with you.

  2. I know it is not funny, but that post made me laugh!

  3. Amen to that. I feel sorry for my poor husband who is bearing the brunt of it the past few days.

  4. Amen sister, you are speaking right to me!

  5. Um the Carrot Gravy was a HUGE hit at my house!! Thanks for the idea. I didn't cook it in the crock pot but I did it in my deep dish stoneware baker from Pampered Chef and it was delish!

  6. When I'm on my period, I joke to to my husband that I want to be pregnant again so I don't have to deal with all the cramps and other crap that goes with it. He doesn't think I'm funny. Then he reminds me how painful the delivery part is and the recovery. I just laugh and tell him it was a piece of cake because at least we had a baby to show for it. What do we have to show for periods? YUCK!

So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!

But then...STOP! STOP everything, make this, and thank me later! Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story ! And this story ...which, the same story, just told two different ways! ;) So, you can thank her...I guess. Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized! You'll need this: And, this: You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. ( Ahem... ) Just keepin ' up with the times, friend. So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips... And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte
