Well, in true fashion...we're keepin' our word! We said we'd put up a Healthy Recipe Blog Hop, so here it is my friends!

My healthy recipe! (Finally!! Sorry...)
Steel-cut Oatmeal...Crock-pot Style! (Adapted from MckMama's!!)
1 part steel-cut oats to 4-5 parts water (I found, for our family of 7, that 1 generous cup oats to 4 and a halfish cups water is about right...)
Put oats and water in crock-pot...add a bit of salt (approx 1/2 tsp.) and flavor with all or some of the following:
Cook on low starting late at night, in the morning you'll wake up to delicious warm oatmeal to fill your tummies! Add a little milk, a bit more brown sugar and vanilla, perhaps a little flax meal...and enjoy!
