You da Best! And V-Day Extravaganza Deets!!

I've been thinkin'...and you know what?

I'm quite certain that I have some of the best darn readers around!

Honest to goodness...I am humbled and grateful that y'all take the time to come here to read what I have to ramble on and on about share with you! It still amazes me that even just one person comes here!

I love blogging. It has become an outlet for me that I never knew I needed until I started doing it!

But, you know...one of the greatest things I've found, is the "interaction" between us! I love reading your comments, your stories, your similarities, your connection to something I've written!

It warms my heart when I hear I've touched you...or made you laugh!

So, thank you, friends...for taking the time to tell me about yourself. For sharing your stories with me...and for warming my heart!

Okay...so, sorry...I'm done gushing now.

In other news...my Valentine's Day Extravaganza kicks off tomorrow...and I wanted to fill you in on the going's on around here!

First, look! I made a button!!! (Can you tell I'm proud?!!) Feel free to grab it and use it on your posts (or, if it makes you think I'm a nut job novice...just leave it behind!) :)

Photobucket

For those of you that like to plan ahead, I'm gonna list the "theme" for each day...that way, you can write your post ahead of time, if you'd like, and link up when you get the chance!

Okay...onto the themes: (I'm trying not to be "couples" exclusive...I want to include everyone!!)

Sunday (tomorrow): The story of how you met the love of your life...or, if you haven't yet met the love of your life tell me how you met your best friend!

Monday: Your favorite date story (good or bad!!), or the best night out you've had with your bestie!

Tuesday: Engagement stories!! (If you'd like...throw in a photo of your bling!)

Wednesday: What is your favorite memory of your wedding day (or, tell me your favorite memory with your aforementioned best friend!)?

Thursday: (per suggestion of Mr. Wonderful) Tell the story of your love's biggest romantic screw up.

Friday: 5QF...love style! I've put up a thread specific to this 5QF...check it out here and offer up your questions!!

Saturday: Photo Day...show me a favorite photo with your love or your best friend!

Sunday: Ten things you love about your love!

So, dem's da themes!

Now, I want you to know, that (while I would love it) I in no way, shape, or form expect everyone to participate everyday...'course, if you want to...have at it, baby!

I want this to be fun...and not a chore...so, pick and choose...and let's have some fun!!

I'm looking forward to reading about your stories and your loves!

Come here looking for the tutorial? It can be found here:  Halo Braid Tutorial!  Let me know how it goes! I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other day...my best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it. Instead, I got this: Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks! Vlog tutorial coming soon...(for those of you waiting, I'm sorry it's taking me so long!)

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed braiding...watch the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby! So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!

You should probably finish reading this post first...you know...so you know how to make it... But then...STOP! STOP everything, make this, and thank me later! Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story ! And this story ...which, well...is the same story, just told two different ways! ;) So, you can thank her...I guess. Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized! You'll need this: And, this: You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. ( Ahem... ) Just keepin ' up with the times, friend. So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips... And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte...
