Hi friends!! I hope you're all enjoying the Valentine's Day Extravaganza as much as I am! It's been so much fun to read the stories (I'm trying my hardest to read them all...) and get to know you a little bit better! Today's theme is: Romantic Screw-ups (as suggested by Mr. Wonderful!) This one kinda tripped me up... I mean, I've already told you about the Chocolate Covered Strawberry fiasco . Then, I just mentioned the whole, small-velvet-box-on-a-woodpile-during-a-romantic-weekend-getaway-which-turned-out-to-be-not-the-engagement-ring-I-was-hoping story. Welcome to day 4 of the Valentine's Day Extravaganza! Today we're sharing our favorite memory from our wedding day... 9 years ago today...at this very moment, I was getting ready to walk down the aisle and vow to love, honor, and cherish the love of my life! Yup...it's true! It's Mr. and Mrs. Wonderful's Anniversary today!! (I love how, when I write our names like that...that I become "Mrs. Wonderful"!!) *cheesy grin* Wow...I still can't believe it's been 9 years! So...after the whole engagement story...we decided, "heck...now that we're engaged, let's just make it official!!"...and we planned (oh, who am I kidding...I planned, he showed up...) our wedding in 3 months! Okay...so, y'all know that I was a "package deal"...a "two fer one" if you will. ..coming into my relationship with Mr. Wonderful. The atmosphere, the views, the fun stuff to do (hike, ski, walk along Superior) was just amazing...a great place to fall deeply in love! So, we decided to celebrate our "one year anniversary", Valentine's Day, and my birthday...all at once in a weekend getaway up in Duluth. Welcome, friends! To the first installment of: Today, is "Tell me how you met your love..and/or your bestfriend" day! Love can be interpreted many ways...and I don't want to exclude anyone who hasn't yet found the love of their life, so if that's you...tell us about your best friend! Bestie's are awesome...and who doesn't love their bestie?! Anywho...I have found the love of my life...he's purty durn amazing ('cept when he does things like this), and I'm purty durn lucky he's mine! So, here's the story (it's much better from his perspective...so, I'll be including that too!): It was my 21st birthday. I was out with some girlfriends, my big bro and my parents (and, if that sounds weird, you haven't met my parents. Which, ahem , I guess most of you haven't...). We were at a local bar, hangin'...havin' some drinks...and I was quite impressed with myself at how "responsible" I was being on my 21st birthda...

I've been thinkin '...and you know what? I'm quite certain that I have some of the best darn readers around! Honest to goodness...I am humbled and grateful that y'all take the time to come here to read what I have to ramble on and on about share with you! It still amazes me that even just one person comes here! I love blogging. It has become an outlet for me that I never knew I needed until I started doing it! But, you know...one of the greatest things I've found, is the "interaction" between us! I love reading your comments, your stories, your similarities, your connection to something I've written!
