Thursday Night 5QF Sneak Peek!!

I've gotta brag just a little bit. I feel smart today!! Tho thmart!! I fixed our water softener!

I'm addicted to soft water...and, until you've had hard water, you have no idea how wonderful soft water is. Trust me.

So, *blows on knuckles* yup, I did it all by myself! I fixed 'er up right! (It had nothing to do with an animated, step-by-step, fool proof website...nope, nothin' at all.)

My husband and my big boy are off to slay deer this weekend. (Really, they're off to play cards and eat good food and pretend that they're off to slay deer. I'm onto them. I know their ways and their tricks. They can't fool me.)

Anywhoodles...it's time for the Thursday night sneak peek for Five Question Friday! Remember, this is just the preview post...the chance for you to get a sneak peek at the questions so you can get your post all ready to go for tomorrow's linky!

Rules for 5QF: Copy and paste the following questions to your blog post, answer them, then watch for the linky post to appear Friday morning and LINK UP!! Oh, yeah...and most importantly...HAVE FUN!!

Question for Friday, November 5th: (Special thanks to Sandy, Bethany, Susan, Julianne (and Sugarkanke and some others, too!!) and Pam for their question suggestions! If YOU want to be linked in a future 5QF, c'mon over to my community and offer up some of your best question suggestions! You know you want to...) ;)

1. If you could have any talent and turn it into an occupation, what would it be?

2. Would you rather have a house at the beach or a cabin in the woods?

3. Is there any meaning or reasoning for the names you chose for your child/children?

4. What is your guilty pleasure? (I know we've done this one before, but I'm guessing people's "guilty pleasures" change frequently. At least, mine do!)

5. Do you live in a house that is deep cleaned or straightened?

--------------------------------------------

And there ya have it!! I'll see you in the morning!

  2. ewww, I hate soft water! We have hard water and I love how clean it makes me feel. The soft water? It makes me feel as though no matter how hard I try the soap will NEVER come off.

  3. Oh, I love the questions for tomorrow. I have my post ready to go.

Oh, and I don't care for soft water either. I know it's better for the skin though.

    Have a great weekend!

Come here looking for the tutorial? It can be found here:  Halo Braid Tutorial!  Let me know how it goes! I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other day...my best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it. Instead, I got this: Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks! Vlog tutorial coming soon...(for those of you waiting, I'm sorry it's taking me so long!)

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed braiding...watch the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby! So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!

Crock-Pot Fajitas

You! Yes, YOU!! You must stop whatevertheheck it is that you are doing, and make this recipe. Right now. Tonight. Well...wait. You should probably finish reading this post first...you know...so you know how to make it... But then...STOP! STOP everything, make this, and thank me later! Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story ! And this story ...which, well...is the same story, just told two different ways! ;) So, you can thank her...I guess. Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized! You'll need this: And, this: You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. ( Ahem... ) Just keepin ' up with the times, friend. So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips... And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte
