I had a Heart Attack Last Night.

Last night, I was sitting in bed, working on a photobook from Shutterfly when suddenly, I had this horrible pain in my chest.

Being a nurse, I, of course, immediately knew what was happening. I pulled up a quick will, filled it out, wrote letters to my children and my husband, quick got up to change my underwear so I'd have clean ones on when they came to haul out my body, and I said a prayer.

Then, I burped.

And all was right with the world.

Turns out, when you have a burp stuck, it feels just like a heart attack.

  7. That's happened to me a few times... but usually it's when a fart migrates up to... my chest? Um? How does that even work, anatomically speaking? But I soooo know what you mean! I think I might consider keeping a "heart attack" emergency kit nearby so my clean undies and stationary are in one place so I don't have to worry about fumbling around a messy desk drawer and rifling through my laundry pile (since I don't fold or put away laundry these days...)!

  11. I love it! I was in a play once, playing a pregnant maid of honor, and had a scene where I went into false labor - turned out to be a burp. I tried for weeks to learn to make myself burp but never could. I had to fake it. Hope your burp tasted good, at least.

  15. Happened to me, too. But in my case, it was a gallbladder attack. I never want to go through that again. Worst pain ever. And I'm getting ready to have a baby soon. Doesn't compare. I'd rather go through labor.

I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other day...my best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it. Instead, I got this: Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks! And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte...
