Mr. Wonderfulest 2010!!

Okay...my decision is made.

It was hard...agonizingly hard. I'm not sure if I've ever told you...but I can't make a decision to save my life. Ask my Mr. Wonderful...he'll tell you all about my sooper decision making skillz.

In the end, I had to go with my gut...and if I'm going to be entirely honest with you, my gut was talkin' back. It was being bucky.

You see...the person I choose...the "Mr. Wonderfulest" post that tugged most at my heartstrings, that brought tears to my eyes and touched something deep within me...is someone I consider a friend. I've never met her in person...but, that doesn't "qualify" a friendship in my book.

I wondered, "would people think badly of me, if I choose a friend?" "Will they think I'm playing favorites?" But then I realized, I need to follow my heart...and choose which post touched me the most.

I think you'll agree with me, when you read this post, that this guy is worthy of the title! And, if I'm going to be entirely honest with you, again...ALL of your guys are worthy of the title!

Wow...there were some amazing entries! What blessed women we are to have such wonderful men in our lives! I wish that I could give you all a gift certificate...but my husband might have a thing or two to say about that. ;)

But, alas...I can only choose one....so I went with the post that stuck with me the most. The one I kept going back to over and over.

Friends, let me introduce you all to 2010's Mr. Wonderfulest...

Ian!!!

Ian "belongs" to Kate (and, she's a horrible sharer-er-er) and Kate's touching post can be found here, on her blog, Kate's Life.

Kate, you sure have an amazing man...which doesn't surprise me, considering you are pretty darn amazing yourself! I hope Canada accepts Visa! ;)

Thank you to everyone who entered!! I really did enjoy reading all of the posts and seeing that there are REALLY amazing Mr. Wonderful's in the world.

'Til next year...

Come here looking for the tutorial? It can be found here:  Halo Braid Tutorial!  Let me know how it goes! I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other day...my best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it. Instead, I got this: Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks! Vlog tutorial coming soon...(for those of you waiting, I'm sorry it's taking me so long!)

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed braiding...watch the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby! So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!

Crock-Pot Fajitas

You! Yes, YOU!! You must stop whatevertheheck it is that you are doing, and make this recipe. Right now. Tonight. Well...wait. You should probably finish reading this post first...you know...so you know how to make it... But then...STOP! STOP everything, make this, and thank me later! Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story ! And this story ...which, well...is the same story, just told two different ways! ;) So, you can thank her...I guess. Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized! You'll need this: And, this: You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. ( Ahem... ) Just keepin ' up with the times, friend. So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips... And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte...
