1. Do you regift...and if so, do you have a regifting horror story?

2. Do you know what you are getting for Christmas this year?

3. Who brings the most gifts in your family, you or Santa?

4. What store do you love to by jeans from?

5. Christmas meal: Big, All Out Meal or Snacks and Apps?

--------------------------------------------------

1. Do you regift...and if so, do you have a regifting horror story?

Well, this one time, I got a "babushka" for Christmas...perhaps you've heard the story?

I plan on regifting that this year. Perhaps to my mom. Or, possibly to a certain someone who's name I have for Christmas (yes, that'd be you...sis!).

Ack! Okay, so I lied. No...I don't know that I've ever regifted (and, that babushka is long gone...so, K. and mom? You're safe.). However, if the "shoe fit", I might just do it. What if, say...I had something fabulous laying around that I received as a gift and I'd never use it but so and so had a birthday coming up and it would be perfect for them? (Whoa...that's a lot of theorizing...)

I'd totally regift it.

2. Do you know what you are getting for Christmas this year?

No...but I've already received the only thing I've ever wanted in life...which I'll fill you in on later!

Once upon a time, I looked at my Christmas gifts...I may have even tried them on...there may even, possibly, perhaps been a case of a ripped bag which was frantically replaced and quickly disposed of.

Talk about nerve wracking!

But I learned...that when I looked at my presents, it was exciting in the moment, but when Christmas came, I was always disappointed 'cuz I knew what I was getting! So...I make every effort NOT to know.

And, I carried that through to having babies...never found out with any of them, 'cuz I likened "ultrasound day" to peeking in presents...and "birth day" to Christmas!

Now? I love surprises!

3. Who brings the most gifts in your family, you or Santa?

Well...it's kind of a toss up, but Santa brings the fun stuff!

We give "practical" gifts...Christmas outfits and stuff...and Santa fulfills the wish lists!

There is nothing better than rising on Christmas morning, all bleary eyed and rumpled with sleep to watch our children ooh and ahh over their Santa stuff.

Warms my heart just thinking about it!

4. What store do you love to by jeans from?

If you'd've asked me a few months ago, I'd've told you "any store that carries Silver's". However, in the last few weeks, I have discovered Express' "ReRock" jeans.

Love them. LOVE! Slightly lower rise than I'd prefer...but incredibly well fitting and ridiculously comfortable!

I'm a "ReRock" convert!

5. Christmas meal: Big, All Out Meal or Snacks and Apps?

Big meal. (Yes, mom...that's my vote!)

Our Christmas Eve is a freakin' marathon of Christmas cheer! I love it! Starts with just my immediate fam, moves to my mom and dads where it's them, my bros and us, then the big extended clan comes over there!

With the middle celebration, we do apps...(my mom makes the BEST chicken wings...I'll hafta get the recipe...), then, with the bigger group, we do a meal. Usually. (Which is what I'm voting for this year, too!)

Christmas Day, my husband's side comes to our house and we do a great big meal again! LOVE IT!

Just what Christmas should be, in my mind. Good food, family, and lot's of fun!

--------------------------------------------------

Okay...I'm off to get my hair highlighted (finally!!) and hopefully to finish my Christmas shopping! Have a fabulous weekend!

Come here looking for the tutorial? It can be found here:  Halo Braid Tutorial!  Let me know how it goes! I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other day...my best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it. Instead, I got this: Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks! Vlog tutorial coming soon...(for those of you waiting, I'm sorry it's taking me so long!)

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed braiding...watch the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby! So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!

Crock-Pot Fajitas

You! Yes, YOU!! You must stop whatevertheheck it is that you are doing, and make this recipe. Right now. Tonight. Well...wait. You should probably finish reading this post first...you know...so you know how to make it... But then...STOP! STOP everything, make this, and thank me later! Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story ! And this story ...which, well...is the same story, just told two different ways! ;) So, you can thank her...I guess. Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized! You'll need this: And, this: You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. ( Ahem... ) Just keepin ' up with the times, friend. So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips... And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte
