1. How often do you shave your legs in the winter?

2. Valentine's Day cards for your spouse: funny or romantic?

3. What are you most looking forward to about spring?

4. What's your favorite way to pamper yourself?

5. Does your tax return go into savings or do you spend it instantly?

-------------------------------------------------

1. How often do you shave your legs in the winter?

Ugh. Really? Now you're gonna get all grossed out and stuff.

Okay, keep in mind that I live in Minnesota, and aside from this winter (in which we could've worn capris) we live in long johns, flannel lined jeans, and snow pants.

Here goes...

I shave them when they get itchy. You know, that "itchy hair regrowth" phase? When the hair starts to get caught on the sheets and in your pants and gets really, really annoying?

That's when I shave. And not a moment sooner.

I'm sorry if I just made you throw up in your mouth.

2. Valentine's Day cards for your spouse: funny or romantic?

You know...it depends on my mood. Which is in direct correlation of my monthly visit from Aunt Flo. (My grandpa is probably saying right now, "Aunt Flo? Who in the hell is Aunt Flo?!") ;)

If her visit is near, I am most likely feeling sappy and sentimental and crying at every romantic card in the Valentine's section.

If she's far off, I'm more my usual self and looking for something silly and sarcastic.

This year it's looking like it'll be the former. I'll remember to bring the tissues along when I pick out the hub's card.

3. What are you most looking forward to about spring?

Gosh, you know...I felt like we've had spring for winter! This winter has been BLISSFUL! Amazing. Incredible. Wondrous.

So...I dunno. Um...how about longer days? And green. Yeah, I get sick of the brown blah that's all around right now. Have you ever really paid attention to the shades of green in the spring? It is SO vibrant and fresh.

My grandma always says it "looks like green lace" when you see a hillside covered with freshly budding trees. She's right. It does.

But there is something about that first month of fresh buds and blossoms that is so...wonderful. And crisp. And green.

Green is my new favorite color.

4. What's your favorite way to pamper yourself?

Buy an iPad? ;)

Okay...pamper. Well, I LOVE pedicures. Except when they get close to that tickly part of your arch? Not as much that, but the rest? Yup.

And...I love massages. Long, wonderful, relaxing massages.

And facials.

You know, let's just make this easier...I love spa days.

The end.

5. Does your tax return go into savings or do you spend it instantly?

Usually it goes into savings. Over Christmas we tend to tap into savings more than we should, so if we get a tax return, it typically goes to replenish what we've used. Boring, I know.

Or, it goes to pay off the little debts we added up over Christmas.

I'm sensing a theme here..."Overspending at Christmas". Sigh...I like to give, what can I say?

However, this year? I would totally go toward an iPad. Have I mentioned yet that I want one? ;)

March...first week in March is when Apple is rumored to announce the big iPad 3 (or 2s?) release! Then, I'm sure you'll hear me hmmm and haaaaa about whether to go with the new model or last year's model. So, please make sure to research so that when I have my moment of indecisiveness, you'll be prepared to point me in the right direction.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.

Have a wonderful weekend my friends!

Come here looking for the tutorial? It can be found here:  Halo Braid Tutorial!  Let me know how it goes! I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other day...my best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it. Instead, I got this: Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks! Vlog tutorial coming soon...(for those of you waiting, I'm sorry it's taking me so long!)

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed braiding...watch the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby! So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!

Crock-Pot Fajitas

You! Yes, YOU!! You must stop whatevertheheck it is that you are doing, and make this recipe. Right now. Tonight. Well...wait. You should probably finish reading this post first...you know...so you know how to make it... But then...STOP! STOP everything, make this, and thank me later! Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story ! And this story ...which, well...is the same story, just told two different ways! ;) So, you can thank her...I guess. Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized! You'll need this: And, this: You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. ( Ahem... ) Just keepin ' up with the times, friend. So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips... And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte...
