I just got a text from...someone...(I promised him I wouldn't tell you his name...and remember that I said "HE"...) that made me laugh, so, being a blogger, I of course have to share it.
Turns out he went to the doctor for a physical, the nurse asked him "Do you take any medications or are there any medications you need to ask the doctor about?"
He responded, "Well, my counselor suggested that I take some pitocin during this separation." (He and his wife are working on some stuff...)
He said the nurse looked at him, paused and said, "Um...pitocin is what they give pregnant ladies to induce labor."
"SEROTONIN!! SEROTONIN...it was serotonin that the counselor said to take!!"
To which she said, "Oh. I was going to say...'You don't look pregnant.'!"
To which I say, "Pitocin and serotonin don't really sound anything alike!!" Do they?
That is a pretty funny text. Iget some funny ones now and then and it always seems to make your day.
ReplyDeleteHa! That's hilarious he even knows what Pitocin is. I guess it could have been worse. He could have said Pamprin. Then the nurse probably wouldn't even have questioned it. :)

ReplyDeleteOh wow...when I started reading this, I thought, "There's another use for pitocin? REALLY? I had no idea." Well, that explains it...
