Thursday Night 5QF Sneak Peek!!

I'm sitting here, scratch that, I'm lying here, with a sleeping baby on my chest and a laptop on her butt, tappin' away for your Sneak Peek!

Just, slightly, also a little creeped out...some "college dude" stopped here because he was "visiting" the homes of preschool-high school aged kids to talk with their parents about SAT's. Dude. PRESCHOOL? And, he tried to brush my husband off to talk to "the mom".

Do people really do this? Should I put away the handgun under my pillow? I'm effectively wigged out.

Anyway...sneak peek.

  2. I love your blog, I read it daily, have never commented tho! The 'college dude' is pry selling educational books and software to families as a summer internship, I did it for 4 summers in a different state every year! However, it may be his first year and that could be why he came across as creepy lol. They sell pre k stuff as well as SAT stuff. It could also be a totally different company than I know, but it sounds familiar;) no need to wig out lol. And yes, we usually did talk to the moms!

  4. I by no means want to freak you out, but here this week in out area we had a lady going around doing something similar, and she was trying to steal children's identity. Hopefully that is not the case in your situation and OurLittleBlessings is correct.

  5. Hi!!

I've been reading your blog, and I think it's wonderfully put together, you have a beautiful family.

I see your "Five Question Friday" feature in a couple of my friends' blogs, and I think that's a great idea! I'm going to start participating in it. Did you come up with that on your own, or did someone suggest it to you? :)

That's creepy about the young man. Maybe he was nervous or feeling out of place, and that's why he came off as creepy. It's sad though how you can't be too sure in this century.

Have a wonderful Friday, and I just wanted you to know that I added your blog to my blog list. Here's mine if you ever get a chance to see it: rebs1229.blogspot.com. Yours is way cooler though! :)

    Have a good day!

Come here looking for the tutorial? It can be found here:  Halo Braid Tutorial!  Let me know how it goes! I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other day...my best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it. Instead, I got this: Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks! Vlog tutorial coming soon...(for those of you waiting, I'm sorry it's taking me so long!)

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed braiding...watch the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby! So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!

Crock-Pot Fajitas

You! Yes, YOU!! You must stop whatevertheheck it is that you are doing, and make this recipe. Right now. Tonight. Well...wait. You should probably finish reading this post first...you know...so you know how to make it... But then...STOP! STOP everything, make this, and thank me later! Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story ! And this story ...which, well...is the same story, just told two different ways! ;) So, you can thank her...I guess. Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized! You'll need this: And, this: You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. ( Ahem... ) Just keepin ' up with the times, friend. So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips... And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte...
