Thursday Night 5QF Sneak Peek!!

It's so rare for me to have a Thursday evening off, and I am hell bent on fully enjoying tonight! Pizza and movie night with the kids (a little "Gnomeo and Juliet", anyone?), perhaps a glass of wine or two with my love and then tomorrow?

No morning activities.

No morning activities = mama (and kids) sleeping in!!

We're gonna be in a parade this weekend...I'm sure I'll give you all the lovely deets about that later, I'm brewing a little cold concoction that I'm also sure to tell you about later, and I have a funny Hambone story to share with y'all (say it with me) "later"!

But for now, let's get to the Sneak Peek for Five Question Friday! If you're new to this, just want to remind you that this post is just your chance to get a peek at the questions ahead of time to get your blog post all ready for tomorrow, when I put the linky up!

Rules for Five Question Friday: Copy and paste the following question to your blog post, answer them, then watch for the linky to appear tomorrow morning (any preferences as to time?) and LINK UP! I would LOVE for you to link back to me, but that is NOT a requirement! I just wantcha to have FUN!! (And, 5QF is also a quick, easy post for when your muses have gone on sabbatical or if you're just plain old too busy to write something else!)

Questions for Friday, June 17th: (Special thanks to @gasfamily, @MarandaLamping, Sandy, Lorilynne, and a question from the Deck of Random Question cards [i.e. sending out an SOS for question suggestions!] for their question suggestions! Have a fun question? Head over to my community or shout it out on twitter to me, @5crookedhalos, using hashtag #5QF!)

1. What is your favorite summer time activity?

2. Do you have one laundry soap you stick to, or do you buy whatever's on sale?

3. What is your favorite dinner to make in the summer?

4. Do you have any talents?

5. If you could instantly be an expert in something, what would it be? Why?

-----------------------------------

Okay friends, see ya in the morning!

Come here looking for the tutorial? It can be found here:  Halo Braid Tutorial!  Let me know how it goes! I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other day...my best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it. Instead, I got this: Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks! Vlog tutorial coming soon...(for those of you waiting, I'm sorry it's taking me so long!)

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed braiding...watch the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby! So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!

Crock-Pot Fajitas

You! Yes, YOU!! You must stop whatevertheheck it is that you are doing, and make this recipe. Right now. Tonight. Well...wait. You should probably finish reading this post first...you know...so you know how to make it... But then...STOP! STOP everything, make this, and thank me later! Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story ! And this story ...which, well...is the same story, just told two different ways! ;) So, you can thank her...I guess. Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized! You'll need this: And, this: You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. ( Ahem... ) Just keepin ' up with the times, friend. So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips... And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte
