Babies are so nice...

I love 'em. Everyone of them makes me want another of my own.

Okay, not really. I'll just snuggle other people's babies up instead...

A quick sneak peek of the shoot I did with my cousin's brand new (1 week old!) baby:

  1. I look at these pictures and I, too, long for one more (despite the fact my youngest is only 10 months.) Not going to happen, though. :) However, I also look at these pictures and laugh a little, because I'm always amazed that people's babies sleep through the taking of these photos. My babies would have had NONE of this and would have kicked and chatted and flailed their arms until the artistic shots looked like blurs of little baby lightning. Always wanted one of these shots for my 4...never got 'em! :)

  2. so precious, makes me want to have another one, I don't think this will change for me even when I'm 80 years old, just love a new born fresh baby, yu-um!

  3. Ooh..that is the sweetes looking baby. Wait, they all are sweet looking. Those pictures make my ovaries hurt! I can't wait until my husband and I start our family.

  4. Beautiful! I love baby skin! Great work! J.

  5. These pictures make my ovaries weep.

  6. Awww. You take some wonderful photos and it helps when you have an adorable little one to take pics of.
**sigh** Oh how a little one would be so nice.

  7. These are really great! I'm sure momma loved 'em.

  8. <3 <3 <3 I'm. In. Love. She is beautiful and I want to squeeze her! :) Great pics!

  9. Oh so precious! Great shots!

And I know what you mean, I love babies but I sure don't want to start all over!

Come here looking for the tutorial? It can be found here:  Halo Braid Tutorial!  Let me know how it goes! I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it. Instead, I got this: Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks! Vlog tutorial coming soon...(for those of you waiting, I'm sorry it's taking me so long!)

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby! So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!

Crock-Pot Fajitas

But then...STOP! STOP everything, make this, and thank me later! Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story ! And this story ...which, the same story, just told two different ways! ;) So, you can thank her...I guess. Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized! You'll need this: And, this: You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. ( Ahem... ) Just keepin ' up with the times, friend. So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips... And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte
