It's Giveaway Time!!

Can you guess what it is?

Huh? Huh?

Can ya?

'Member this post? Well, my friends! I am a woman of my word...and I have procured for you (well, not all of you...just one of you...) an adorable little something.

Something with big brown eyes...

And a soft...an unbelievably soft head...

A little muzzle just made for kissing...

And...

And? Are you ready?

Can you handle it? (I can't.)

Oh...I can hardly take it!!! It's a removable heart!!!

A removable hot pack heart!

Oh...bestill my heart surgeon heart.

Our hospital's Gift Gallery carries these adorable animals! I picked one up...and one lucky winner is gonna win themselves...

Lucy the Lamb!!!

Lucy likes pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain. She's not into yoga...

Oh...sorry. This isn't a personal ad...it's a giveaway, dude!!! And, while Lucy is not looking for a mate...she is looking for a loving home!

And someone who will snuggle her. And enjoy her microwavable hot pack heart (or...toss that heart in the freezer, and voila! A cold pack!)...perfect for ear aches, or upset tummies or just for some cozy comfort for your wee one!

Here's the rules:

For one entry, leave me a comment!

You get a second entry if you blog about this giveaway!

For a third entry, tweet or retweet about this giveaway! (My Twitter handle is 5crookedhalos)

Those of you that follow my blog get a fourth entry!

Make sure you leave a separate comment for each entry!

Someone special is gonna get one snuggly, cuddly, warm little lamb to hold! My kids have similar ones...ours don't have removable hearts. It makes me sad.

I could sit and remove that heart all. dang. day! Makes me feel important.

And smart.

And like I should be calling out things like "I need a CBC stat! Get me some ABG's and let's tube this lamb!! 150 of sux...NOW! Draw a PTT and a D-dimer!"

Okay, I lied. (Gosh...I do that a lot, don't I?)

I have no idea what I just said.

I'm an OB nurse.

I call out things like "Push, push, PUSH!!!" and "You have a BOY!!"

For all I know, I may have just harmed your lamb.

Sorry.

But, anywho!! Good luck! Oh...and just so you know...Lucy comes from our smoke-free, pet-free home (well, for the record...we have a dog. But she stays outside.)...and, my kids haven't been allowed to touch Lucy.

So, she'll arrive to you unblemished. Unsmelly. And oh, so cuddly!

Comments will close Wednesday night at midnight (or would that be Thursday morning?)...and I will announce the winner sometime on Thursday!!

Come here looking for the tutorial? It can be found here:  Halo Braid Tutorial!  Let me know how it goes! I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other day...my best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it. Instead, I got this: Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks! Vlog tutorial coming soon...(for those of you waiting, I'm sorry it's taking me so long!)

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed braiding...watch the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby! So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!

Crock-Pot Fajitas

You! Yes, YOU!! You must stop whatevertheheck it is that you are doing, and make this recipe. Right now. Tonight. Well...wait. You should probably finish reading this post first...you know...so you know how to make it... But then...STOP! STOP everything, make this, and thank me later! Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story ! And this story ...which, well...is the same story, just told two different ways! ;) So, you can thank her...I guess. Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized! You'll need this: And, this: You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. ( Ahem... ) Just keepin ' up with the times, friend. So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips... And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte...
