Hot and Healthy--Week 9

Ohmigosh. This is IT!! The last week of Hot and Healthy!

I totally can't believe it.

Anywho...let's move on!

After nine weeks of being "present" to your health and fitness...how do you feel?

Do you see any changes...any new habits formed?

Are you glad to kiss this program good-bye or are you clinging to it's leg, begging it not to leave?! ;)

Do you think you will continue on with the tips and ideas that we have given you?

Anything we could've done differently? Longer time frame? Shorter time frame?

Oh...were you able to take Mama M.'s tip last week and make it work? ;)

How 'bout Keely's stretching?

Too many questions...sorry...answer what you want!

The winner of last week's awesome stainless steel water bottle is: Audra!! Congrats! Contact Mama M. with your info, and I'll get it out ASAP!

Didn't win this week? Well, my friend...we have ANOTHER fabulous water bottle to giveaway this week! It's the pink one this time! Just link up below, or head over here and leave a comment on the giveaway post!

And just wait! Just you wait!! We have one humdinger of a giveaway still to do. Working on the final deets on that one!

------------------------------------

Well, I hafta say...I'm glad to be done with hot and healthy. I feel like it was just a couple of weeks too long.

I know for sure, that I've got a good foundation (and fabulous fitness "expert" in Keely) to keep me going with healthy choices and working out!

I hope we did you justice with what we offered you!

Great job to all of you!!

  3. Man! I am finally back to a computer and I have missed soooo much! I am so sad to see this weekly post end! The tips have been great; the stretches and pilates exercises amazing!
My hubby even got on the ball this week and has his own Kettleball workout that he is taking on the road with him. I started him on it this past weekend when we got home and before he left for work! I am so super proud of him!
I will continue these wonderful practices and am committed to losing the last 10 by Easter...my birthday!! :)
The last week though was not good for me....we travelled to my in laws and lets just say they like full flavor over health. I did manage to walk every day and no real damage done on the scale. :)
I know this is late but....better late than never. Didn't want to go this far without finishing up!

Come here looking for the tutorial? It can be found here:  Halo Braid Tutorial!  Let me know how it goes! I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other day...my best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it. Instead, I got this: Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks! Vlog tutorial coming soon...(for those of you waiting, I'm sorry it's taking me so long!)

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed braiding...watch the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby! So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!

Crock-Pot Fajitas

You! Yes, YOU!! You must stop whatevertheheck it is that you are doing, and make this recipe. Right now. Tonight. Well...wait. You should probably finish reading this post first...you know...so you know how to make it... But then...STOP! STOP everything, make this, and thank me later! Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story ! And this story ...which, well...is the same story, just told two different ways! ;) So, you can thank her...I guess. Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized! You'll need this: And, this: You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. ( Ahem... ) Just keepin ' up with the times, friend. So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips... And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte...
