"I know it's late...I know you're weary...I know your plans, don't include me..."
That has nothing to do with anything other than the first thought I had when I started this post was "I know it's late" and suddenly, my mind is playing Bob Seger love ballads from the 80's. Forgive me for what I do.
I am beyond exhausted. Left home yesterday evening, had an enjoyable dinner with friends, stayed up way too late chatting with my co-worker, woke early, spent the day learning very interesting, very important things pertinent to my line of work, hit rush hour, drove straight to hubby's customer appreciation party, ate, mingled, collected kids, fixed the dishwasher, loaded the dishwasher, turned on the dishwasher, discovered my bed had been peed in last night by my youngest child and the mess only partially cleaned up, realized that I have to go to the laundromat AGAIN in less than 2 weeks time to wash the comforter, had a small, not at all satisfying pity party, and am now waiting for my sheets to dry.
I need a hug.
And a massage.
A little retail therapy, perhaps?
Sigh.

I offer a hug because it's all I can really offer cyberly, but {{{hugs}}} And find time for some rest or at least a bubble bath with a glass of...something soothing. ;)
