Thursday Night 5QF Sneak Peek!!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh <-------------- That's a big, contented, "I'm done with my work week" sigh. Weekend, here we come!

It's a busy weekend over in these parts...we've got the 5k Run/Walk in conjunction with the benefit for my BIL's family on Saturday, in betwixt the two (betwixt...ever since the Royal Wedding, I have been in love with "betwixt") I am getting my hair cut (amen!!), after the benefit it sounds as if we are hosting the Mr's side of the family for some "together" time, and then it's Mother's Day (and since I finally got my picnic table last year, I don't know what to ask for!!)!

Should be fun...and I'm hoping I'll have some incredibly cute hair to show you (along with the saga that has led me to have some rather "Non-Hot Mom Hair".)! I also have some photos from a couple of shoots to share with you and a some "now and then" pics, too! Yikes...the subject matter I have is earth shattering, isn't it?

Okay, well on with the show! Welcome to Five Question Friday--the easiest blog hop around! (Actually, welcome to the Thursday Night Sneak Peek of the 5QF questions!) Remember this post, is just a chance for you to get a little look-see at the questions ahead of time so that when Friday rolls around, your post is all ready to be linked up!

Rules for 5QF: Copy and paste the following questions to your blog post, answer them, then watch for the linky post to appear tomorrow morning and link up! Remember, most importantly, to HAVE FUN!

Questions for Friday, May 6th: (Special thanks to Lorilynne, Kate, Jolene, @trooppetrie, and @scrumpture for their question suggestions! If YOU would like to be linked in a future Five Question Friday, c'mon over to my community and offer up your best question suggestions! Feel free to shout 'em out to me [@5crookedhalos] on twitter using hashtag #5QF, as well!)

  1. Hi there! Thank you for hosting. I’m a new follower from the hop. I've also got a page on my site that lists more than 150 hops for each day of the week. Check under the header for the link to that page.
I hope you’ll visit me soon and follow back!
    Have a great week.

  2. Happy Mothers Day when it comes! Ours was last month in the UK!

I've not been blogging in over a months, so I'm ecstatic to be back taking part in 5QF this week!! :D

Come here looking for the tutorial? It can be found here: Halo Braid Tutorial! Let me know how it goes!
I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it.
Instead, I got this:

Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks!
Vlog tutorial coming soon...(for those of you waiting, I'm sorry it's taking me so long!)

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay!
This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby!
So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!

Crock-Pot Fajitas

Yes, YOU!!
You must stop whatevertheheck it is that you are doing, and make this recipe. Right now.
Well...wait. You should probably finish reading this post you know how to make it...
But then...STOP! STOP everything, make this, and thank me later!
Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story!
And this story...which, the same story, just told two different ways! ;)
So, you can thank her...I guess.
Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized!
You'll need this:
And, this:

You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. (Ahem...)
Just keepin' up with the times, friend.
So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips...
And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips...
(Lemme just interject here...sorry for …
