It Has Begun...

Or, is it began? shopping...'tis upon us. Completed 2 of 5 "Kid and Mom Day" outings so far. Baby Girl yesterday, Hambone today and wowza. That is exhausting. Mostly because: "No, you don't need another skull and crossbone shirt. Oh, LOOK! A button up! Oh, no button ups? Just one. Oh, you don't like that one?" *facepalm*

Hambone had long ago decided he wanted to eat at Ciatti's. For those of you unfamiliar with Ciatti's, it is a fabulous Italian restaurant. Soooooo yummy. Needless to say, I was quite pleased with his choice and was looking forward to it. As we were driving there this evening, he suddenly says, "I don't wanna go to Ciatti's. I want to go to Noodles and Co. NO!! PANDA EXPRESS."

SERIOUSLY?!?!?!?!? Chinese fast food instead of yummy Italian sit-down in a nice atmosphere food?

Panda Express it was.

Also of note: I need to start eating salads instead of big, heavy, fat and calorie laden meals 'cuz I HAVE A BRIDESMAID DRESS TO FIT INTO IN 6 MONTHS!

I get to be a co-maid-of-honor (yeah, yeah, yeah...I know that technically I'm a "matron-of-honor" but that sounds so old lady librarian and besides, I prefer to refer to it as a "co-MOH")!!!! Already planning my speech...something like this, I think:

Whaddya think?

So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!

But then...STOP! STOP everything, make this, and thank me later! Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story ! And this story ...which, the same story, just told two different ways! ;) So, you can thank her...I guess. Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized! You'll need this: And, this: You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. ( Ahem... ) Just keepin ' up with the times, friend. So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips... And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte
