Duuuuuude...when did it become March? Seriously, I feel like I've just recovered from Christmas and now it's almost spring?!

Where does the time go?

Anyway...I hope everyone is looking forward to wonderful weekends with your families...we've got dance shows and card parties (sounds like quite the wild life, eh?) on Saturday and then Sunday looks like it'll be relaxing.

1. What was the most productive thing you have done this week?

2. Enjoying the winter or ready for spring?

3. Are you an introvert or extrovert? Is your spouse the same as you?

4. Would you rather go without music or television for 1 year?

5. Have you ever been truly scared of someone?

--------------------------------------------------------

1. What was the most productive thing you have done this week?

Well, I worked two days. TWO WHOLE DAYS. Gosh, how do you full timers do it?

And, I made Vegetable Beef Soup...which is pretty dang productive. And, I washed and folded a bunch of clothes but then, well, I WORKED TWO DAYS and all that hard laundry work has been negated.

If I do anything less than 17 billion loads of laundry each day, I get behind. So, imagine how far behind I become when I do ZERO loads of laundry.

Why am I on the computer? I should be staying up all night washing clothes...

2. Enjoying the winter or ready for spring?

Truly, I was enjoying winter more than I have in a long time, up until our marathon sicknesses.

We have not been well since that fateful day in WalMart when I got a little too smug.

We've just bicycled from one illness into the next...and just when I thought we couldn't possibly catch anything more? BOOM. Head cold.

I'm ready for spring so I can open windows and air out the germs...'course, with spring come pollen, so I'll likely just trade this sneezy, stuffy viral nose in for a sneezy, stuffy allergic nose.

Maybe I should be hopeful for summer, instead of spring...

3. Are you an introvert or extrovert? Is your spouse the same as you?

Oddly enough, the older I've gotten, the more introverted I've become! I guess I still consider myself an extrovert, but I've definitely become a bit more introverted, uncomfortable in social situations where I don't know anyone, that sort of thing.

The Mr. is much more introverted than me. We balance each other out!

4. Would you rather go without music or television for 1 year?

Well, since I've gone without television for the last 8 years and since I've recently began a hot and torrid love affair with Pandora...I'm gonna go with television.

I'm not a huge music buff, and I'll level with you, my favorite Pandora station is the Laurie Berkner station, but music has definitely become a daily part of our lives now!

5. Have you ever been truly scared of someone?

Yes, actually, I have.

When I was in high school (a senior?) I was "jumped" in the Hardee's bathroom in my town. For being a good girl, I was pretty traumatized.

For quite a long time afterward, whenever I saw groups of kids that dressed like these girls, I panicked a little inside. And yes, I was scared of these two girls. Truly scared.

But the restraining order helped ease that a bit. Yes, there was a court date and restraining orders and all sorts of crazy stuff.

Such a crazy story.

------------------------------------------------

And with, my friends, I hope you enjoy your weekend!

Come here looking for the tutorial? It can be found here:  Halo Braid Tutorial!  Let me know how it goes! I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other day...my best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it. Instead, I got this: Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks! Vlog tutorial coming soon...(for those of you waiting, I'm sorry it's taking me so long!)

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed braiding...watch the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby! So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!

You! Yes, YOU!! You must stop whatevertheheck it is that you are doing, and make this recipe. Right now. Tonight. Well...wait. You should probably finish reading this post first...you know...so you know how to make it... But then...STOP! STOP everything, make this, and thank me later! Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story ! And this story ...which, well...is the same story, just told two different ways! ;) So, you can thank her...I guess. Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized! You'll need this: And, this: You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. ( Ahem... ) Just keepin ' up with the times, friend. So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips... And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte...
