Dearest exciting and entirely entertaining YouTube : I love you. You know that I do. But, I have a favor to ask... You see, I'm in the running for a nice sized gift certificate, and my winning said gift certificate depends entirely on the "Likes" my video submission gets. But see, here's the thing... It was recently brought to my attention that in order to "Like" a video , you've gotta have a YouTube account (I know, I know...it's totally easy peasy lemon squeezy to sign up...), and I get why you'd require that...but, well... Okay, I lied before... here's the thing... If you don't have a YouTube account, and you click "Like" for someone's video ...why doesn't a great big JumboTron box pop up saying "In order for you to "Like" this video, you must sign up for a YouTube account" and then tell people where to go. Ack. I'm sorry YouTube...I don't really mean "tell them where to go", sh...

The past few weeks have been a blur of memories being created. From our family trip to the Black Hills: To our family reunion weekend: From my BIL's wedding: To Hambone's birthday party on Sunday: It just hasn't stopped. And...it looks like chaos and craziness will just keep coming. Our roof remains unfixed: We've got bids coming in, and it makes me sick to think that we're going to have to shell out close to 4 grand to fix the "unbroken" side of our roof. The Mr. is leaving the country for a few days, which means I'll likely need a lot of chocolate, a good book, and perhaps a glass of wine or two to get me through the short time he'll be gone. Add to that the fact that my oldest is starting high school in a couple of weeks...and you'll probably understand why I'm on the verge of tears lately. I'm really trying hard not to stress...it just isn't worth it...but, in all honesty, I am. I'm stressing about the finances, about havi...

First things first...have you voted for me ?! Pretty please do?!! ;) Oh, and PS...you can vote for me everyday !! Wait, maybe what I should say is... will you vote for me everyday?! Okay...so, quite a few weeks ago, we were in a transition. The photojournalist in me (stop laughing now, it sounded good, okay?!) was capturing every step we took... The little cribside mirror that entertained our babies... The lovely crib headboard that experienced the pounding of many baby feet... The siderail, that was used as a teething toy for our babes... I had grandiose plans to tell you all about it...but then, life grabbed me by my hair and forced me to dance with it. And party with it. And stay out past my bedtime with it. Dang life...it's so demanding. And now, I've got a life hangover. I want to sleep, I want a clean house and organization...and I keep begging God, "Please!! I promise to never let life take control like that again!! Just make things better!!" And God keeps tel...

It's Date Night! No, not the kind with Mr. Wonderful...the kind with one of YOU! After a weekend that was sooooooo busy, I still feel like I have somewhere to be and not enough time to get there, I'm looking forward to a relaxing day tomorrow. If you can count laundry, vacuum, cleaning the camper, and tidying after a birthday party tonight, "relaxing"...at least I'll be home, right?! I inadvertently "went dark" this weekend when I mistakenly assumed we'd get wi - fi at the "retreat" we were staying at (more on this later!) and instead found myself in a technological black hole. No Internet . None. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Nothin '. I am nothing, if not resourceful, and so I tappity tapped out Five Question Friday on my phone's Notepad, then copied and pasted it into a post. It's that time of the week, again! I am so dadgum tired, I can hardly see straight...so, I hope I picked some good ones this week!
