Ding Dong



Are there ever times in your life that you hope the Kodak camera inside your brain is working and capturing the memories that happening in front of you so that you'll have them forever?

Yesterday, I was folding clothes. (What's new.) And folding. And folding and folding and folding. And, like I'm wont to do, I started singing (much to my family's dismay, although, thankfully for them, it wasn't opera this time...)...this was my song:

"This is the way I fold the clothes, fold the clothes and fold the clothes,
This is the way I fold (all these cotton-pickin', no good, dirty rotten, never ending) clothes...
ALL THE DING DONG DAY."

Baby Girl gasps, looks at me and says, "MOM! You can't say that...that's a PENIS!!"


Huh...and I always thought a ding dong was an incredibly delicious Little Debbie snack.

    Haha! I do love the funny things kids say! Not too long ago, my nephew told the ladies in the church nursery who were changing his diaper- "Don't forget to wash my balls!"

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed braiding...watch the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby!
