I don't know if it's the knowledge about just how far the sun has to rise in the sky before we'll be blessed with warmth and green and chirping birds again, or what...but it always seems like January is when it really hits me.

That we're in this for the long haul. That the little bit of winter we've just passed through was just the beginning.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!

Sure doesn't help anything that I was just looking through pictures like these:

And dreaming of the days in which I complain about how hot it is. Ahhhhh...summer, I can't wait!!

  3. Ya, I agree 100%. I'm over winter after the first snow fall.. Then it can go away. I hate walking outside and feeling my snot freeze.. (I know that might be a little tmi, but that's the way things are). I can't wait for Spring, and Summer. :)

  11. It hits me in February. There's usually one day when it just feels like it's going to last forever and I cry like the biggest sucky baby ever.

Love the pic of BabyGirl in her itty bitty bikini! She is adorable.

Hang tight, sistah. Summer has to come back eventually ;-)

Come here looking for the tutorial? It can be found here:  Halo Braid Tutorial!  Let me know how it goes! I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other day...my best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it. Instead, I got this: Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks!
