Howdy, friends! I just spent the afternoon at my grandparent's house, helping them get acquainted with their new computer. And the Internet. My mind is tired...they're doing great, but wow! To try to strip down what you know to teach someone who has NEVER had any experience AT ALL with computers?
It's hard work! Anyone have any suggestions for websites for them? Or ways to help them learn?
Okay, so it's Thursday night...and I'm not working! Which means only one thing...I work this weekend. :( At least I do something I love, right?!
Well, let's get down to business!! Thank you to everyone who responded to my "call to action" and offered up their question suggestions! If you shouted out via Twitter, I'll link your Twitter account...if you responded in my community, I'll link your blog...sound okay?
Alright, just a reminder that this post is the "Sneak Peek"...it has no linky associated with it! Just your chance to get the questions ahead of time and get your post all ready for when the linky appears tomorrow, FRIDAY!
Rules for Five Question Friday: Copy and paste the following questions to your blog post, answer them (duh!!), then watch for the linky post (with my answers) to appear tomorrow morning!
Questions for Friday, January 7th: (Special thanks to @mom2xover2002, @trooppetrie, Scott, Kate, and Leslie for their question suggestions! If you want to be linked in a future 5QF, c'mon over to my community and offer up your best question suggestions! Feel free to shout 'em out on Twitter too, use hashtag #5QF and tweet to me, @5crookedhalos!!)

The senior center - that's where my grandmother went to learn some things about the computer :)
ReplyDeleteWhen my aunt set up my grandma's computer, she put large icons on the desktop of the places grandma wanted to access the most. (email link, Facebook, etc.) it has helped her get comfortable and then can explore from there.
