Just a quick little post...
Yay!!!! Five Question Friday broke 100!! Which means...it's giveaway time (anyone opposed to a Visa gift card?!)!!
If you didn't link up yet with your 5QF answers, you have until the MckLinky closes...which is tomorrow, Sunday 1/17 at 11pm CST to enter!! Then, I will pick one lucky MckLinker-uper from 5QF to win!!
Thanks, friends, for the "awesomest" turn out ever!! Makes Mama happy! ;)
I was planning on doing a "real" post, but I ran outta time...church and a 40th Birthday Party are in order tonight!!
So, with that...I leave you with this:
An Ole and Sven Joke:
(Must be said with your best MinneSOOOta accent!!)
Ole and Sven were goin' for a walk.
Dey come upon a pile 'a poop.
Ole leans down...takes a good look, "Yup...sure looks like poop, dontcha think?"
Ole bends down, takes a big whiff, "Yup...sure smells like poop."
Ole takes his finger, dips it into da poop, licks it off and says, "Yup, you betcha...it's poop...dat's fer sure."
Sven says, "Well, gosh, Ole!! It's a good thing we didn't step in it!"
:)
Happy Saturday!
Cute Joke..I even used my Minnesooota accent..I'd love to hear a real Minnesoootian say it though..
ReplyDeleteYay for 5QF..Now I wish I wasn't #2..2 never wins!
Have fun tonight!

Confessions From A Working Mom
Congrats on reaching your goal. I think a Visa card is an awesome giveaway...beggers can't be chosers, can they?
ReplyDeleteAs for the joke...all I have to say is, "gross!" :)
one more thing...I linked to your 5QF post, but my link stays black instead of blue with the line under it. I see a few others are black to. Did I link it up correctly?
ReplyDeleteI gotta say, I've never heard of an 'Ole and Sven' joke, just "Sven and Ole".....Sven always comes first :)
ReplyDeleteI've missed a couple weeks! I better git le butt in gear!!
ReplyDeleteNICE joke! Growing up in Minny-so-tah, Sven, Ole and Lena jokes were the ONLY jokes I heard my parents tell! My great-grandparents ARE Ole and Lena - not THE Ole and Lena, but still ...
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your milestone!!!
I love Ole and Lena jokes - growing up in MN, they're all I heard. Now I live in Colorado and nobody has even heard of them! I do make lefse whenever possible to try and give these ppl a little culture though. ;)
ReplyDeleteWoohoo!! :)
ReplyDeleteWang a dang--it worked! I was finally able to get the McLinky blog list to show up on my blog. Whew. Hope I'm signed up for the drawing now. Nice to have an extension on the Friday post for those of us who are frequently a little behind. :)
ReplyDeleteOh hilarious! My dad's name is Ole....NO LIE! Not his legal name, but from the time he was a baby his grandpa called him that & it stuck!
ReplyDeletehaha! My sister lives in Minneapolis...dontch know! (I found myself saying this joke out loud to myself in my best MinneSOOOta accent! haha) and so I sit, here in Suh-thun Georgia...
ReplyDeleteBlessings & Aloha!
