*Sigh*
All I wanted was to get a photo of my nicely dressed kids on Easter (minus their biggest bro, who was at his dad's for the holiday). Is that too much to ask?
Apparently it is...just take a look:
I wanted a photo of my kids all together...only Baby Girl wasn't having anything to do with it.
But, WAIT!! If you look close, there she is:
My efforts were futile, and I gave up as soon as this happened (dang baby bros, always gotta be goofy...but I think it's kinda cute! And, I think they are too...):
Then, Uncle J joined in the fun (i.e. torture) and mercilessly teased Belle (but, as you can see, she didn't really mind too much!):
At long last, I attempted to stage a family photo:
*Groan* I give up.
Oh, you are not alone! I don't think I have one really good family photo. We've tried many times, but it never works the way I had planned. You know, life is a lot that way, so maybe it's good our photos are, too!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Very cute! I've yet to get a 'family' pic that is perfect... 'sigh' ;)

love them all :) the true family photo!
ReplyDeleteprayers being sent your grandpa's way, by the way!
You have a beautiful family! Looks like it was a great Easter!
ReplyDeleteI think these are way better than any 'family' photo!! This is what a real, genuine family looks like!
ReplyDeleteThis post makes me think of that commercial for Windows Cloud program where the mom edits faces and stuff to get the perfect photo.
ReplyDeleteI think they're cute regardless, though.

LOL! Totally feel your pain.. and I only have one! However, all the "blooper" shots are precious :) You have an adorable little family girlie.
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of that commercial for Windows 7 I believe? Something about a cloud? Anyway, the mom finally photoshops her kids "good" faces onto their bodies, lol!

Love it! Seeing the pictures made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteThat is one gorgeous family - matters not that they couldn't all look at the camera at the same time. :) Give it about two more years and you'll have nothing but lovely shots because they will all have learned that the sooner they cooperate, the sooner it will be over!
ReplyDeleteAwwwww!!! You are not alone!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the bloopers! Sometimes they're more fun than the "perfect shot." Hambone looks SO much like Mr! Praying for your grandpa!
ReplyDeleteI am new to your blog and I love the pictures! You have a beautiful family!
ReplyDeletebeautiful nonetheless :)
ReplyDeleteThese photos beat any professional!!! These are awesome.
ReplyDeleteBTW- check out my blog.. I left you a gift:-)
Seriously funniest thing today! Your family photos look like mine. Being a photographer and having the worst family pictures is the most embarrassing! But, you have a pretty good looking family!
ReplyDeleteYou know what I find funny about your attempted family photo? No matter what your kids were doing your husband was looking straight at the camera every time! LOL
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. You have nice family.
ReplyDelete-family pictures
