Thursday Night 5QF Sneak Peek!!

How on earth does this happen? Thursday, it just seems to come quicker and quicker every week! (Er...is it "more quickly and more quickly"? I'm so glad that I didn't go through with that fleeting thought of an English major. Phew.)

I've got an exciting weekend planned! Okay, well...not so much the whole weekend, but on Sunday, my mama and I will be hitting the MOA for our annual Christmas Kick-off! We shop and shop and eat and drink fancy coffee and shop some more and she tries to help me with my indecision and we drink more coffee and laugh.

I come home broke and tired. But it's so fun! I'll make sure to have the Holiday Gift Guide post all pre-scheduled...I really hope you join in...the Children's Book one was great, I got some AWESOME ideas from it, and I've decided to keep EVERY week's linky open until the end, so that if someone wants to join late, they can!

Speaking of the Holiday Gift Guide, I will label them all as such, so if you want to find them, just use the handy little "search this blog" box in the upper right of my blog and type in "holiday gift guide" and voila! All the posts right at your fingertips!

The next theme is: "Gifts for the 'Mature Man' in your life"! Why is it so hard to find good "man gifts"???

Enough with the rambling! Let's get to the Sneak Peek!

Remeber...THIS post is only the "sneak peek". Your chance to get a peek at the questions ahead of time and get your post all ready to go for when the linky post goes live in the morning!

Rules for Five Question Friday: Copy and paste the following questions to your blog post, answer them, then watch for the linky post to appear tomorrow morning! And remember...HAVE FUN!! This is a fun and easy post, so enjoy it!!

Questions for Friday, November 12th: (Special thanks to Bethany, [inspiration from] Pam, Sandy, Liz, [inspiration from] Colleen for their question suggestions! If YOU would like to be linked in a future 5QF, c'mon over to my community and offer up your best questions!)

1. What is the most physically painful thing that has ever happened to you?

2. How much sleep do you get at night?

3. How long did you believe in Santa Claus? How did you find out that he does not exist?

4. What was the last movie you saw in a theater?

5. What do you wear to bed?

----------------------------------------------------

See you all in the morning!!

  1. That shopping with the mom thing sounds like so much fun! My mom hates to shop, and I never have any money. Shoot. I did promise my sister that I would try Black Friday shopping with her this year - we've never done that before...should be interesting...

    Have fun!!!

Come here looking for the tutorial? It can be found here:  Halo Braid Tutorial!  Let me know how it goes! I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other day...my best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it. Instead, I got this: Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks! Vlog tutorial coming soon...(for those of you waiting, I'm sorry it's taking me so long!)

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed braiding...watch the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby! So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!

Crock-Pot Fajitas

You! Yes, YOU!! You must stop whatevertheheck it is that you are doing, and make this recipe. Right now. Tonight. Well...wait. You should probably finish reading this post first...you know...so you know how to make it... But then...STOP! STOP everything, make this, and thank me later! Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story ! And this story ...which, well...is the same story, just told two different ways! ;) So, you can thank her...I guess. Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized! You'll need this: And, this: You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. ( Ahem... ) Just keepin ' up with the times, friend. So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips... And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte
