Update: The winner is #25!
And that is Meghan! Watch your email for confirmation stuff Meghan! To be fair, if I don't hear back from you in 24 hours, I'll choose a new winner! (But, I'm pretty sure I'll hear back from you!) ;)
I mean, really, could it be that good? As good as I've heard it was?
Yes, my friends, it can.
It IS!

I am fascinated by sharks (well, sharks, whales, dolphins...you know, ALL of it), oceans, really, and I've always admired Bethany's story. Her courage, her strength, her POSITIVE ATTITUDE in the face of adversity.
In the face of insurmountable odds against her.
In the face of being "different" at an age when "different" is the very last thing you want to be.
You guys, I cried. Throughout the entire movie, I found myself weeping.
Crying for her parents, when they found out about the attack. Crying for Bethany, as she fights for her life. Crying for the doctor, who is wise beyond anything books and schooling could teach him.
Crying for the strength in her family. In their belief in their daughter and sister. Crying for her best friend's fear that she was going to lose her. Crying for her "Welcome Home" sign(s) (watch the movie to see what I mean!).
So, yeah, I AM PMS'ing, but WOW.
This was an amazing movie. Definitely going to buy this one. Soon.
And watch it again.
Soon.
And learn...learn from a young teenager with an incredible attitude that life is wonderful. Life is worth LIVING for, even when the odds aren't in your favor.
Learning that positivity is an incredible asset to have in your pocket, ready to take it out when I need it most.
Positivity. It's an amazing thing. And Bethany Hamilton is a perfect example of that.
