Happy Birthday, My Love!


38 years ago today, the world became a better place when my mother-in-law gave birth to her sixth born.

Family legend is that when my dear husband was forced from his mama's breast, he threw such a fit that he turned several unhealthy shades of red and was shipped to the University hospital, because they thought he had something wrong with his heart.

Turns out, he was just a boob guy...and seriously po'd that someone took his food away.

Not much has changed in those 38 years, I tell ya. ;)


I am so incredibly grateful that my path in life led me to this amazing man. God sure knew what he was doing when he placed that handsome young man at the end of the bar the night of my 21st birthday.

Mr. Wonderful is, without question, the most wonderful man I've ever met. He is kind, selfless, thoughtful, helpful, faithful, patient...and still has an affinity for boobs. (Sorry mom and dad and grandma and grandpa and my brothers...and anyone else who may be scarred by that thought...)


So, Happy Birthday, my love. Thank you for being you...you are WONDERFUL!

    My new little diva is so funny when she gets seriously po'd. She is not a big crier, but when shee gets po'd she cries so hard nothing verbal comes out, she stops breathing, and turns fire engine red. I need to get a pic of this, because it is so hard to believe, LOL!

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed braiding...watch the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby!
