In the Spirit of Christmas...

As I finish up with my Christmas preparations, and try to get control of my laundry, I wanted to let you know that Five Question Friday will be on hiatus this week, in observation of Christmas! (That, and there's no way on earth I'll have time to get up two posts and try to visit some of yours, what with all the baking and cleaning and wrapping and folding and Christmas song listening I've got scheduled!!)

So, with that...I'll leave you with this, for now:

Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer, lyrics by my 5 year old:

"...then all the reindeer loved him, as they shouted out WIGGLY, Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer, you'll go down in history!"

  1. Too cute! Our kids did a christmas play at church titled Christmas around the World. One of the songs is Roo the Kangaroo. So my little boy thinks roo is a reinder now. lol Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  2. I will miss 5QF this week! Have a very Merry Christmas Mama M.!

  3. bummed, sadddened, distraught. haha, I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Merry CHRISTmas

  4. Hope you have a very Merry Christmas!

You must stop whatevertheheck it is that you are doing, and make this recipe. Right now.
Well...wait. You should probably finish reading this post you know how to make it...

Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story!
And this story...which, the same story, just told two different ways! ;)
So, you can thank her...I guess.
Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized!
You'll need this:
And, this:

You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. (Ahem...)
Just keepin' up with the times, friend.
So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips...
And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips...
(Lemme just interject here...sorry for …
