Are awesome.
They're this crazy mix of man and boy that makes my heart swell with love and happiness (and, so, yeah...okay, sometimes with anger and frustration, too!)!
I love that the Pal still gets holes in his jeans...because it means he still "plays".
And I love that, when a big, slushy, icy hill is discovered, a 14 year old manboy can't help himself but to slip and slide and run down it as fast as he can...
More often that not, that 14 year old boy makes me smile.
I love him.
I have a 14 yr old too...and I agree! My kid makes me smile more often than not. Something about this age... :)
ReplyDeleteI have one of those, too! They're at such an awkward stage of life. Gotta love 'em. Great photos, too!
ReplyDeleteYour kids are all beautiful. They grow up so fast. Mine are 9, 7, and 7.
ReplyDeleteYour love for your kids shines in this blog. I'm sure they all feel your deep love everyday. You have lucky children.
you are more than welcome to my 15 year old. Since 13.5 he's become more and more of a pain as long as he's not doing exactly what he wants (ie playing XBOX) the attitude male PMS, the talking back, the disrespect or rules and people, and his school work I have no idea how someone so smart can do so many NOT smart things ugh. I love the kid but please, let me make it through the next 3.5 years..... and wow he's also learned to argue and fight like his dad.... who's no help what so ever so I'm glad he's out of here.....
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky to have a good one ;)
I have a 16 year-old manboy and I totally get what you are saying. They are quite a mix of boy and man, sometimes toddler thrown in for good measure.
ReplyDeleteBut those girl-moms don't know what they're missing!
Awww... I think my 35 yr old husband is still a manboy! :)
