Beautiful Belle

"Beautiful Belle"...redundant, no?


I absolutely love this photo of my eldest girl. Caught in a moment...unaware that I was there until I quietly said her name. Working on a project with her little brother down by the lake.




This is what I love about photography...capturing "those" moments. Moments that would otherwise be lost forever in the blink of an eye, in the passing of a second.


I played around with this photo in Lightroom a bit and I really like what I came up with...just the focus on that gorgeous face of hers...and those eyes. Those eyes that are caught some where between blue and green.



And to think...her heart is even more beautiful than that breathtaking face of hers.

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed braiding...watch the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby! So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!
