3 Years.


Hard to believe that this little old blog is three years old today. Funny how it snuck up on me.

I had grand plans to have some fun activities, giveaways, and then all of a sudden...HERE IT IS?! What the heck? Where happened to all those weeks I had to plan and organize? Gone. Poof.

If I have my druthers, I will plan a "post birthday bash" and do it up right. We'll see how it plays out.

In the meantime, I'd like to thank y'all for all these years. For the comments, the supportive words, the prayers, the stories shared and the connections made. When I started this blog, I had no idea that there was an entire community of wonderful people out there.

I am thankful that I have this space (and all of you!) to share my funny stories and trials and tribulations of life. You make this little corner of the world wide web pretty special for me!

Things I am planning on soon: Getting back to work at my "50 Things Nurses Won't Tell You" and something fun I have planned with my grandma (more on this soon!).

Here's to many more years of sharing stories...CHEERS!!

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed braiding...watch the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby! So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!
