About Me

As a thirtysomething mother of five, wife to Mr. Wonderful (does that make me Mrs. Wonderful by default?), I try to enjoy life to the fullest and appreciate every day.

I try my very, very hardest, not to take life too seriously...and I've learned, if you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?!  Nothing pleases me more than watching my children have a good giggle!

Heck...when the going gets tough, the tough start laughing!  ;)

Aside from being a wife and mother, I also "moonlight" as a labor and delivery nurse. I'm quite certain that I have one of the best careers a girl could ever ask for...and if I'm not able to be home with my kiddos full-time, I sure am glad that I'm blessed with a "job" that I love!

I'm proud that I define myself as a mother and a wife and that my career allows me to prioritize my life this way!

I'll admit, mothering 5 is a challenge, but the joy that it brings is worth all the heartache, chaos, stress and tears!!
