As a forty-something mother of five (gah...40?!), wife to Mr. Wonderful (does that make me Mrs. Wonderful by default?), I try to enjoy life to the fullest and appreciate every day.
I try my very, very hardest, not to take life too seriously...and I've learned, if you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?! Nothing pleases me more than watching my children have a good giggle!
Heck...when the going gets tough, the tough start laughing! ;)
Aside from being a wife and mother, I am a school nurse and I also "moonlight" as a labor and delivery nurse.
I'm proud that I define myself as a mother and a wife and that my career allows me to prioritize my life this way!
I'll admit, mothering 5 is a challenge, but the joy that it brings is worth all the heartache, chaos, stress and tears!!
I love your outlook on life. We have the same passion for L & D. I truly love pregnancy and childbirth. It is such an amazing experience. I hope we get a chance to connect!
