1. What album/cd/download are you embarrassed to admit you have?

2. What's the one thing your spouse does better than you?

3. When do you start buying Halloween Candy?

4. Family closets - Yay or nay?

5. Which home/cleaning chore do you hate the most? Why?

---------------------------------------------

1. What album/cd/download are you embarrassed to admit you have?
Well...since my 16 year old and I share an iTunes account, I very likely have MANY downloads that I'm embarrassed about. I rarely go through my phone to see all the songs, in fact, the only time I listen to music is when I'm on a walk and since that happens approximately 1.53 times a year, a lot of downloads can happen in between.

Usually, I'll be walking along to some upbeat song, think: "Centerfield" and then next song will be something catchy like Katy Perry's "Firework" comes on and I'm feeling all cool and hip and singing along (with all the wrong words) and the next thing I know Eminem is blasting swear words and phrases that make me blush and I quickly fish my phone out of my sports bra to change it before someone, gah, hears it!!

(Secret: I downloaded, all of my own doing, a little Carly Rae Jepsen this summer. But you'll never get me to confess that in public.)

2. What's the one thing your spouse does better than you?

Psh.

As if. Next question.

Okay, fine. Well, he prays better than I do. And he cleans better than I do. And he makes eggs WAY better than I do.

Dude is the breakfast champion. Oh, OH!! And, he grills better than I do. And kills bugs better and disposes of dead mice better and makes stressful phone calls better and...well, the list goes on.

(And on and on and on.)

3. When do you start buying Halloween Candy?

Wait. This question implies that there is a "correct" time to buy Halloween Candy. Oop...hold up. First of all, dearest Tanya, you now have all of my love, respect and adoration for capitalizing "Halloween Candy" like it is a proper noun. Amen.

Anyway, I digress...I buy as soon as I can. Especially Candy Corn M&M's (Kate, do you have those in Canada?). I don't actually buy candy to pass out. We live down a long, creepy, very private driveway and have never gotten a single, solitary trick-or-treater at out house.

'Course, we're never home from our own Halloween adventures until bedtime, so that could be part of the lack of trick-or-treaters.

4. Family closets - Yay or nay?

Meh. Sure. Actually, if I had a closet big enough (i.e an entire room) to devote solely to a family closet, and someone to organize it for me, and then keep it organized, sure. Why not.

Sounds like a decent idea...but with the sheer volume of clothes we have (we have a couple of clothes horses in our family...not naming names...*blushes*), I'm not sure how it would work.

I know other people do it with great success...but I just don't see myself keeping it organized. But then again...there isn't much that I actually DO keep organized. #fail

5. Which home/cleaning chore do you hate the most? Why?

Er...um...can I just say "yes". I mean, really, there isn't a chore I "enjoy" so I can't really narrow down the list that way which means that, basically, I hate them all.

Laundry ranks up there. At least the folding of it. Dishes, too. And scrubbing floors. OH! And dusting...it makes me sneeze. As does vacuuming.

See? Hatred abounds.

Have a great weekend!

  1. Snowflakes?!?!? What? We're still dealing with 90 degree temps here, along with like 150% humidity. I might actually be OK with snowflakes being in our forecast!

I'm with you on the chores. I hate them all!

I actually remembered to link up today! Have a great weekend!

  5. I actually don't mind doing laundry. Of course I am waiting for a machine that washes and dries and hangs up the clothes when they are done.

Come here looking for the tutorial? It can be found here:  Halo Braid Tutorial!  Let me know how it goes! I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other day...my best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it. Instead, I got this: Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks! Vlog tutorial coming soon...(for those of you waiting, I'm sorry it's taking me so long!)

Halo Braid Tutorial!

You'll need this: And, this: You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. ( Ahem... ) Just keepin ' up with the times, friend. So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips... And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte
